We believe healthcare providers should be aligned with the best interests of their patients, so if our program fails you, we give your money back.
We have the technology to eliminate the two most common causes of fraility and death.
Our healthcare system is great at treating disease AFTER it happens and not preventing disease.
However, health insurance fails us when it comes to preventing disease in the first place.
Tenure Health strives to close that gap and keep you healthier, longer.
Cardiologists and oncologists make money AFTER your heart attack or cancer diagnosis, and they’re very good at extending your life AFTER you’re debilitated.
We know this isn’t right and we can do better. We leverage medicine BEFORE you’re sick to ensure you stay healthy as long as possible.
We can’t do this without your help. While you put in the effort in both physical activity and nutrition, we obsess over your medical data, identify your personal risks, and help you manage them.
By committing to your health, we share your goal - a longer disease free life.
By aligning our financial success to the lifelong health objectives of our members, we set ourselves apart from today's healthcare system. When you thrive, we thrive.
We track 650 unique health metrics, with an understanding of how they are relevant to your long-term health.
Our proprietary model predicts your individual risk of disease, as well as flags the most important interventions.
This is really complicated work, but it ensures our medical team is and will always remain data and outcome driven.
Most importantly, we do not benefit from selling procedures that are unnecessary or unproven.
With the Tenure Health mobile app interact with our medical team and chat with our nutrition experts all from your phone.
We’re investing in technology to put your health at your fingertips. We take the arsenal of capabilities that cardiologists use after heart attacks and bring that forward to see signs of disease risk long before it’s debilitating
Through advanced screening, diagnostic tests, understanding genetic predisposition, state-of-the-art screening, and lifestyle changes, the risk of a heart attack or stroke can be dramatically reduced.
If you wait until you’re symptomatic to see a doctor, or once a cancer has started to spread through the body, your chances of remission are low
However, the field of oncology has developed powerful tools for screening and detection of cancer. By incorporating these tools into our program BEFORE development of disease, we aim to catch cancer early, when it has a very high survival rate.
We are not a health insurance nor a concierge medical practice. Both of those are helpful when you have an accident or illness.
We focus solely on prevention of the two major diseases responsible for 80% of deaths.
We want to see you when you’re healthy, and we’ll do everything to keep you there.
This is an investment, and a commitment, if you’re willing to do your part, we’ll do ours.
If before age 80 a member experiences a heart attack or a stroke, or we fail to detect cancer before stage III, we’ll refund their membership fees
With our daily support, our members must also do their part: abstain from smoking, maintain a healthy body composition, and follow the key recommendations of our medical team.
This is a partnership for the long-haul.
Our multidisciplinary and integrated team fills the gap of what’s missing in today’s healthcare.

Tenure Health is not for everyone. As we are a preventative healthcare program, membership is for those individuals who take an active interest in maintaining health, and are willing to work within the structure and recommendations of our staff in order to succeed.
Anyone can sign up for the first year, however, not everyone will qualify for our Warranty. It’s best to think of the first year in the program as a ‘get to know you’ year. During the first year, we can determine if our program is a fit for you, and vice versa. Often members join with significant health risks that must be addressed before membership can be obtained, and we work with those individuals during the first year to qualify for the Warranty. Examples of issues that must be addressed are obesity or smoking cessation. If you are eligible after the first year, you can become a Warranty Member upon signing up for the second year of membership.
Occasionally we find first year members who already have one of our covered conditions, or are in advanced stages of disease that lead to that condition. While these members are welcome to sign up for a second year, unfortunately we are not able to extend the Warranty coverage to them as we Warranty disease prevention. We will provide those individuals with the same incredible service as our Warranty Members.
Our Warranty applies to continuous members, up to age 80. Beyond 80 you are welcome to maintain your membership and take advantage of our full services, but the Warranty will no longer apply.
If, for example, you were a member for a few years, and then took a break before signing back up, the Warranty would only apply to the membership fees incurred during the second term.
Membership fees are paid yearly in advance. While you are under no obligation to sign up for future years, once you have signed up for a specific year, those fees are no longer refundable.
Tenure Health is not health insurance, but is designed to offer access to and interpretation of cutting edge procedures that your health insurance likely does not. For example, we do not treat existing disease or provide acute care - these items are well covered by most health plans and outside of our charter. Instead, our focus is on keeping you healthy and, we hope, minimize your need for traditional “sick care” that your insurance plan is designed for.
We will work with your primary care physician or other health provider, and we will help you keep track (and not miss!) the preventative services that are included under your health insurance, such as colonoscopy, breast cancer and dermatology screening.
Standard health insurance plans are designed to treat those who are sick, with only a token effort given to prevention. We find that many people are dissatisfied with this approach and would rather invest in maintaining better health for as long as possible.
While health insurance can be a life saver in the event of an accident or after the development of serious disease, they fall short in prevention of disease to start with. Our charter is to stay current with the best diagnostic tests and procedures that can help people maintain better health and offer those services to our members long before they will be offered in a traditional insurance plan.
Because we share financial alignment with our members, you can trust that we are not recommending procedures that do not work, nor are we overlooking a procedure that does.
Our members who have had both an executive physical describe that experience as “transactional.” It’s a perceived perk sold to a company, and they do a bunch of testing, but then what?
Our program does as much, and probably much more testing up front, but with the goal of disease prevention and long-term health. The results from the testing up front initiate an engagement with our team where we actively strive to keep you fit and healthy to an advanced age. We’ll follow up with you multiple times per year and keep track of all your most important health metrics and perform cancer screening on at least an annual basis, in order to help us keep you healthy.
Our healthcare system is designed to intervene AFTER you become sick. While that does play an important role, and there’s nowhere in the world we would rather be if diagnosed with a serious illness, we think it’s much more interesting to avoid disease in the first place.
The Tenure Health program is designed to find risk factors for disease, or the early evidence of disease, so that you can take action to maintain health. This is a fundamentally different objective than health insurance plans or most physicians, who ironically, make the vast majority of money from people after they have developed disease.
We provide extensive blood testing, genetic testing, a physical evaluation, continuous remote monitoring, and a number of different body scans and radiological techniques to generate 650 unique data points related to your risk of cardiovascular disease or cancer.
We then merge that data with your existing medical records, lifestyle information, and family history to create a composite medical record unlike anything offered elsewhere in the medical system.
We then run our proprietary health risk models on that data to identify the specific items that drive your risk of our covered diseases.
The totality of that information is reviewed by a panel of physicians to include radiology, primary care, cardiology, endocrinology and nutrition. If there are any questions or debate among the panel, we do the additional research to gain as much clarity as possible and reach a consensus opinion on each individual’s health profile and risks.
This information is conveyed back to you via a sitdown meeting in our office with the relevant specialists and the physician assigned to you. We put extra effort into reporting your findings in a way that is clear and well documented, so that you can review this information at your leisure. This meeting will initiate a health plan, often including specific exercise, dietary and follow-up screening procedures.
Our proprietary mobile application provides you easy access to all this latest information including the relevant historical data. It integrates the wearable devices tracking the biomarkers relevant to your specific health condition and facilitate the interaction with our team that ensure that together we reduce your health risk to a minimum.
We will work with you through the following year to implement your plan and provide any additional screening or body scans as warranted to track your improvement.
We will do this again each year, and track your progress!
We have failed you, and will return your fees back to you as defined in your contract.
We believe (and there’s plenty of data supporting this!) that an active management program can virtually eliminate the chances of heart attack or stroke. Similarly, when cancer is caught early, the prognosis is substantially better than when it’s begun to spread. We are confident that our program works and willing to stand behind it in a way no other executive physical or cancer screening service will.
Our office is currently located just north of San Diego, California, in the coastal town of Encinitas. We work with members from around the world and US who fly in to take advantage of our services and are looking to expand in the near future.
Our program requires that you are motivated and participatory in your health. If you smoke or your body fat levels are defined as obese, your risk is just too high for us to warranty. We believe that with a little effort, good coaching, and the best medical access possible, almost anyone is capable of keeping at bay the conditions that kill 80% of Americans.
